29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work had the strength and structural integrity to support employees safely. Employees were permitted to work on surfaces that did not have the requisite strength and structural integrity: a) New Hope Farm, 5937 Route 11, Homer, NY 13077, on or about 4/6/23: A carpenter was crawling across a 2x4. laid flat across a 4 foot span between trusses (bracing), that 2x4 failed causing the worker to fall 33 feet to ground.
