29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A):Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation: On or about April 5, 2023 the employer did not ensure that employees tasked with the service and maintenance of equipment in the facility had received training as authorized individuals for the isolation of hazardous energies (LO/TO. Equipment present at the facility includes but is not limited to mixers, fillers, reverse osmosis equipment, and packaging equipment. Hazardous energies present on equipment includes but is not limited to steam, thermal, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical. Miceli Dairy Products Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1292520, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on May 3, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 2721 East 90th Street, Cleveland, OH 44104.
