29 CFR 1910.218(f)(2): Hydraulic forging presses. When dies are being changed or maintenance is being performed on the press, the following shall be accomplished: 29 CFR 1910.218(f)(2)(i): The hydraulic pumps and power apparatus shall be locked out: On or about March 29, 2023, the employer did not ensure employees were locking out the hydraulic pump with their power apparatus prior to performing die changes and other servicing/maintenance activities, thereby exposing employees to struck-by and/or caught-between hazards.
