29 CFR 1910.1025(f)(1)(ii): Respirators for protection against lead were not used or were not provided when engineering and/or work-practice controls were not sufficient to reduce employee exposures to or below the permissible exposure limit: At a worksite located at 4722 Pear Street, St. Joseph, MO: Employees were exposed to hazardous chemicals in the form of lead. This was demonstrated on or about May 24, 2023, Employees were observed lifting their respirators away from their faces to facilitate communication. Failing to maintain the face seal could contribute to lead exposure and respiratory contamination. a) Huddle room when door is left ajar b) While working in stacker positions c) While working in COS d) While in the Supervisors Office in Pasting with the door ajar
