29 CFR 1910.147(d)(5)(i): Following the application of lockout or tagout devices to energy isolating devices, all potentially hazardous stored or residual energy was not relieved, disconnected, restrained, and otherwise rendered safe: This violation occurred on or about January 13, 2023 in the boiler area. The employer does not ensure that following the application of lockout or tagout devices to energy isolating devices, all potentially hazardous stored or residual energy was relieved, disconnected, restrained, and otherwise rendered safe, this exposed employees to thermal hazards when performing maintenance tasks on the following equipment such as, but not limited to the Supreme boiler, model 8X-2000 with serial number 17536.
