29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(I): Flexible cords and cables used for temporary wiring were not protected from damage: The employer does not ensure flexible cords and cables used for temporary wiring are protected from damage. This violation was discovered on or about January 9, 2023; next to the rebar shack, where vehicles drove over the electrical cords used to power tools on the jobsite. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the requirement, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure flexible cords and cables used for temporary wiring are protected from damage.
