29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Space about electric equipment. Sufficient access and working space shall be provided and maintained about all electric equipment to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment. The employer does not protect employees from fire and/or electrical hazards created by obstructing access to electrical panels while operating the store. a) This most recently occurred on or about December 1, 2022, at Dollar General Store No. 22944, located at 607 East Highland Drive in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin. The employer does not ensure employees are protected from potential injuries from fire and/or electrical hazards when obstructing the access to the electrical panels with carts loaded with merchandise and other items. Dollar General Corporation was previously cited under the name Dolgencorp, LLC dba Dollar General Store #13248 for a WILLFUL violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.303(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1566292, citation number 1, item number 3b, and was affirmed as final order on June 20, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 880 Spruce Street, Baldwin, WI 54002. Dollar General Corporation was previously cited under the name Dolgencorp, LLC dba Dollar General for a REPEAT violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.303(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1507692, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as final order on June 10, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 312 S Hwy 27/441, Lady Lake, FL 32159.
