29 CFR 1910.106(e)(9)(iii): Combustible waste material and residues in a building or unit operating area shall be kept to a minimum, stored in covered metal receptacles and disposed of daily. On or about and at times prior to November 4, 2022, at the establishment located at 1325 West Fernau Avenue, Oshkosh, Wisconsin; the employer did not ensure that combustible waste materials and residues were stored in covered metal receptacles, exposing employees to contact with fire hazards. Wipe rags used by employees to clean oil and flammable liquids, such as but not limited to acetone and mineral spirits, were stored in plastic receptacles without covers.
