29 CFR 1926.451(f)(4): Damaged or weakened parts of a scaffold were not immediately repaired or replaced, braced, or removed from service until repaired: A). On or about 11/01/2022, Rehabilitation of Roosevelt Ave Bridge Over Van Wyck Expressway. Flushing, NY Employees working from a scaffold referred as a temporary shielding approximately 13 feet above the Van Wyck Expressway were exposed to a fall hazard. A double channel steel support beam was displaced approximately 1 foot to the east on the underside of the shields. The end of three planks were not supported by the beam and were not immediately repaired or replaced.
