29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) 325 Ruthar Drive Newark, DE 19711 (Unload Main belt from between door 1 and pedestrian door 8 PE-8): On or about October 13, 2022, and days prior, the employer did not ensure that the underside of the main belt (overhead horizontal belt ) were guarded at the facility exposing employees to caught in hazard. b) 325 Ruthar Drive Newark, DE 19711 (Metro 4 feed Conveyor Belt): On or about October 13, 2022, and days prior, the employer did not ensure that the underside of the Metro 4 Feed belt (entry way to package cars) were guarded exposing employees to caught in hazard.
