29 CFR 1926.451(g)(2): The employer did not have a competent person determine the feasibility and safety of providing fall protection for employees erecting or dismantling supported scaffolds. Employers were required to provide fall protection for employees erecting or dismantling supported scaffolds where the installation and use of such protection was feasible and did not create a greater hazard. a) On or about July 23, 2022, at the jobsite located at Rochell Road and Guadalupe Drive, Rockwall, TX, where employee was dismantling supported scaffolds system without fall protection. The employer did not have a competent person determine the feasibility and safety of providing fall protection for employee dismantling supported scaffolds.
