29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer does not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) 704 Tiger Trail, Lot 117 Wyndham Village, Opelika, AlabamaThe employer fails to ensure effective fall protection training is conducted as required by the standard, as demonstrated on or about August 21, 2019, at 1947 and 1955 Boxwood Way, Lot 138 /139 Creekstone, Opelika, Alabama, when employees performing framing activities from the top of framed walls, without being trained on the hazards associated with falls, are exposed to a fall hazard of up to 9 feet 6 inches to the ground below. The Jaime Martinez dba Jaime Martinez was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1426752, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on March 12, 2020 with respect to a workplace located at 1955 & 1947 Boxwood Way, Opelika, Alabama and in OSHA Inspection Number 1424612, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on March 12, 2020 with respect to a workplace located at 901 Gallipoli Ct. West Richland, Auburn, Alabama.
