29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1):No employer shall permit an employee to work in such proximity to any part of an electric power circuit that the employee could contact the electric power circuit in the course of work, unless the employee is protected against electric shock by deenergizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it effectively by insulation or other means. On or about July 12, 2022, employees installing seamless gutters at a residential single family home were exposed to electrical hazards when the employer failed to ensure each employee was protected against electrical shock by deenergizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it effectively by insulation or other means. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
