29 CFR 1910.134(e)(6)(i): The employer did not obtain from the physician or other licensed health care professional (PLHCP) a written recommendation regarding the employee's ability to use the respirator. Location: 56 Franklin Street, Waterbury, CT - On or about June 8, 2022, and ongoing, the employer did not obtain a written recommendation from the PLHCP regarding an employee's ability to use an N95 filtering facepiece for protection against the SARS-CoV-2 virus prior to fit testing and/or required use. The employer requires employees to wear N95 respirators while providing care to and working with suspect and confirmed positive COVID-19 patients.
