29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Location: East side of building rooftop located at 2441-A Boston Rd, Bronx, NY 10467 a) On or about May 14, 2022 an employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20' while laying on a 41" wide parapet wall to paint a fa�ade without a means of fall protection in place. Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item, failure to comply will result in an additional penalty of $1,000.00 as per 29 CFR 1903.19.
