29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisted of energy control procedures, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performs any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, start up or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source, and rendered inoperative: (a) Throughout the facility; On or about May 4, 2022, and at times prior to, the employer did not establish an energy control program for employees that perform service and or maintenance of equipment including, but not limited to, an Edge bander, powered industrial trucks (PIT), Panel Saws, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Router, Case Clamps, Dowler, Makor Finishing Line, and Layup Machine, exposing to a caught-in and amputation hazard.
