Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.37(a)(2): Exit routes were not arranged so that employees did not have to travel toward a high hazard area: (a)Hajoca Corporation dba McDonald Supply at 5626 West 9th Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57107: On or about and at times prior to January 25, 2022, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fire and explosion hazards in that the door that connects the storefront to the warehouse had an exit sign directing employees into the warehouse. The warehouse is a high hazard area where flammable gas cylinders, acetylene, were stored. This condition exposed employees to fire and explosion hazards.
