29 CFR 1910.132(e):The employer did not ensure that employees were not using defective or damaged personal protective equipment in the workplace. a. Press Area - On or about January 20, 2022, employees had been using fall arrest systems inside a JLG telescopic boom aerial lift that was deteriorated, frayed and beyond the manufacturers life of the harness and lanyard, exposing employees to a fall hazard. No abatement certification or documentation required.
