29 CFR 1910.146(c)(1):The employer did not evaluate the workplace to determine if any spaces were permit-required confined spaces: (a) CJ TMI Manufacturing America, LLC, waste water pit: On or before 11/24/21, employees were required to enter into waste water pit and the employer did not evaluate the space to determine if it was a permit-required confined space. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
