29 CFR 1910.253(b)(2)(ii): Assigned storage spaces for cylinders was not located away from elevators, stairs, or gangways where cylinders could not be knocked over or damaged by passing or falling objects, or subject to tampering by unauthorized persons: a. 1900 South Ave., Staten Island, NY The employer did not ensure that cylinders were stored in a manner which prevented being knocked over and/or subjected to tampering by unauthorized persons. Employees engaged in the repair of heavy equipment stored acetylene and oxygen cylinders outside of a protective cage and/or were not secured in a manner to prevent being knocked over.
