29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees: a) Throughout the company, located at 1603 Drayton Rd, Cordele, GA 31015, on or about November 18, 2021, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to caught-in and struck-by hazards, in that all authorized, affected, and other employees were not trained in a language they understand in recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control, while employees worked throughout the facility around hazardous energy.
