29 CFR 1910.22(c): The employer did not provide, and ensure each employee uses, a safe means of access and egress to and from walking-working surfaces. Central Paper Stock, Inc. located at 6665 Jonas Place in Berkeley, MO 63134: The employer is failing to protect employees from access/egress hazards that may result in slip, trip, and fall injuries. This was most recently observed on or about 12/09/2021 when the employer did not ensure employees used a safe means of access or egress when traversing a 72" wide steel belt on the in-feed conveyor on a the Large Harris Selco Baler. Employees routinely must walk on and through paper and plastic products of various shapes and sizes when attempting access and egress the in-feed conveyor.
