29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a- 30 Boardwalk Road, Eastampton NJ: A worker was exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 10 feet 9 inches to the ground surface below, when using an aluminum extension ladder whose side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above a landing surface being accessed. Condition observed on or about 10/18/2021. b- 28 Boardwalk Road, Eastampton NJ: The company worksite Foreman was exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 10 feet 2 inches to the ground surface below, when using an aluminum extension ladder whose side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above a landing surface being accessed. Condition observed on or about 10/18/2021.
