29 CFR 1910.147(d)(5)(i): Following the application of lockout or tagout devices to energy isolating devices, all potentially hazardous stored or residual energy shall be relieved, disconnected, restrained, and otherwise rendered safe. A) Douglas Cartoner (Serial # M-110004, Model # WA-IM) located at Plant 8 Multilane - 1090 Springfield Rd., Union, NJ 07083 The employer did not ensure that hydraulic and thermal energies within the adhesive glue system were dissipated and controlled before cleaning and replacing parts of Nordson's hot melt adhesive system, exposing employees to burn injuries. Exposure occurred on or about 12/08/2021
