29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) Production (Bean Line Area): An employee is required to conduct lockout and tagout of machines and equipment, including, but not limited to, metering pump, bean snipper, transfer conveyor, Kaider air compressor, incline conveyor, vibratory shaker, ishida scale, illapak bagging machine, zucchini spiralizer, urshell CC shredder, and washline chiller, prior to conducting servicing and maintenance. The employer did not develop, and document written procedures for the servicing and repair of a metering pump, and other equipment requiring lockout and tagout, on or about 10/7/21.
