29 CFR 1926.651(h)(1): Employees were working in excavations in which there was accumulated water, or excavations in which water was accumulating, and adequate precautions had not been taken to protect employees against the hazards posed by water accumulation: a) Southeast end of 41 Sitterly Rd property - On or about August 18, 2021 and at times prior thereto, employees were working inside of an excavation approximately 6' in depth with standing water that did not have any cave-in or water accumulation protection. An employee was trapped due to a partial collapse in the excavation which resulted in an emergency rescue and hospitalization.
