29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolate. a) State Metal Industries, H Furnace: On or about 12/9/21, furnace operators that were directed to enter the H furnace to clean did not receive lockout tagout training prior to cleaning. H furnace was locked out by maintenance employees prior to entry of the furnace. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFIACATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENATIONS FOR THIS ITEM. FAILUTE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29CFR 1903.19
