29 CFR 1910.132(a):Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: a) At the worksite, 43 Goose Lane, Pennsville, NJ - Backyard: Employee(s) were using a chain saw to cut felled tree limbs into smaller sections. The employer did not provide each employee with protective equipment for extremities such as, but not limited to leather chaps, on or about 5/24/2021. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
