29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i):The employer did not have each affected employee use the types of PPE that will protect the affected employee from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment. a) At the facility, on or about June 9, 2021, the employer did not ensure the use of personal protective equipment for an employee who was engaged in the transfer of resin, that was of a high temperature and pressure, from one tank to another, thus exposing employees to chemical hazards. b) At the facility, on or about June 23, 2021, the employer did not ensure the use of personal protective equipment for an employee who was performing maintenance work on a transfer line that was under pressure with high temperature resin, thus exposing the employee to chemical hazards.
