29 CFR 1910.212(a)(5): Fan blade guards, where the periphery of the blades was less than seven feet above the floor or working level, had openings larger than one half inch: Establishment: Employer is exposing employees to hazardous conditions where employees are permitted to operate pedestal fans which have inadequate guards. On and about 6/10/2021 employees operated Commercial Electric pedestal fan which had openings in the guard which were measured at approximately 1 inch and 1 1/2 inches exposing the employees to amputations hazards.
