29 CFR 1910.147(a)(2)(ii): Alternative measures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by the exception of 1910.147(a)(2)(ii) for routine, repetitive, and integral processes such as minor tool changes and adjustments, and other minor servicing activities. a. 100 Raskulinecz Rd., Carteret, NJ - Production Area The employer did not ensure alternative procedures were developed for the control of potentially hazardous energy. Employees engaged in the packaging of food products replaced packaging film on Repak, RE20 machines using only the "stop" button to pause the machine and/or did not stop the machine when replacing packaging film, where employees did not have direct control at the "stop" button and no procedures for stopping the machine were developed to protected employees from the hazardous energy. Violation occurred on or about April 21, 2021
