29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). a. On or about March 3, 2021, located at Albanese Circle, Lot 17, Dublin, OH 43017, the employer did not ensure that employees involved in framing activities on a two-story, single family home were protected against fall hazards. Employees were installing exterior walls on the second floor of the structure without fall protection, thereby exposing them to fall hazards greater than 13 feet. Jose Rivera was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1301682, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on May 29, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 48, Waterbury Place, Powell, OH 43065. Jose Rivera was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1337489, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 15, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 12216 Prairie View Drive, Pickerington, OH 43147.
