29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2): Employees were not protected from excavated or other materials or equipment that could pose a hazard by falling or rolling into excavations, or by a combination of both if necessary: a)Mt. Vernon Drive and Edens Road Viola, DE - On or about January 12, 20211, employees were working in an approximately 8 to 9 foot deep and 11 feet in width and 15 feet in length trench with significant amounts of spoils piled less than two feet from the edge of the trench creating a potential struck by hazard in the event of material collapsing on employees, from roadway vibrations.
