29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a)Kevin Hoppe Construction, Inc. at 2420 North Bakker Landing Avenue in Tea, SD 57064: On or about and at times prior to January 8, 2021, the controlling and exposing employer did not ensure an employee and subcontractors employees used appropriate fall protection when conducting framing activities on the lower roof of a commercial building under construction. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 14 feet.
