29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) enga ged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. On or about December 29, 2020, located at 3628 Switchgrass Ct, Lot #255, Hilliard, OH 43026, the employer did not ensure that employees involved in framing activities on a two-story, single family home were protected against fall hazards. Employees were installing trusses on the second floor of the structure without fall protection, thereby exposing them to fall hazards greater than 10 feet. Garcia Builders, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1501008, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on December 31, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 11618 Orchard Hills Drive, Lot JEV 047, Plain City, OH 43064.
