29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed On or about November 20, 2020: a. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard while using a Werner extension ladders to access a front left side of the residential home without extending the ladder's side rails at least three feet above the roof landing. b. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard while using a Werner extension ladders to access a front center of the residential home without extending the ladder's side rails at least three feet above the roof landing. c. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard while using a Werner extension ladders to access a front right side of the residential home without extending the ladder's side rails at least three feet above the roof landing.
