29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment: (a) On or about August 13, 2020 - Wooded area near fence, an employee was exposed to struck-by hazards when the employer had not determined the personal protective equipment necessary when cutting trees with a chain saw such as, but not limited to, protective shoes, head protection, and cut-resistant leg protection.
