29 CFR 1926.701(b):All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement. a) Worksite, residential structure, south basement wall: On or about July 6, 2020, an employee working approximately 14 feet above the ground standing on top of the unfinished wall with exposed rebar and was not provided with rebar caps for protection. Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
