29 CFR 1926.307(f)(3): Gears, sprockets and/or chains that were less than 7 feet (2.128 m) from the floor or platform were not guarded: (a)C & C Construction, Inc. at 82 Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway, Hazel SD 57242: On or about and at times prior to May 22, 2020, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from caught-in-between hazards associated with the sprocket and chain drive system on the Sasgen Derrick Co. winch and Predator 670 cc V-Twin horizontal engine material hoist system. This condition exposed employees to caught-in-between hazards associated with the exposed sprocket and chain drive system.
