29 CFR 1910.1200(h): Employees were not provided effective information and training as specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1) and (2) on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard was introduced in (a) On and before March 10, 2020, the employer did not provide adequate training to employees regarding the hazards of chemicals in the workplace or the location of SDSs in the work environment. This exposed employees to contact with chemical hazards without providing employees with the knowledge on where to locate important information regarding appropriate personal protective equipment requirements or how to respond in case of a chemical exposure.
