29 CFR 1910.1200(j)(2)(ii): The employer did not update any alternative workplace labeling used under paragraph (f)(6) of this section, update the written hazard communication program required by paragraph (h)(1) to reflect changes in labeling and safety data sheets, and/or provide any additional employee training in accordance with paragraph (h)(3) for newly identified physical or health hazards no later than June 1, 2016: Employees engaged in servicing, maintenance, cleaning, machining, deburring, assembly activities throughout the machine shop area were exposed to chemical hazards in that the plant current written hazard communication program had not been updated in accordance with the revised hazard communication standard. Employees using hazardous chemicals, including but not limited to: steel fume, coolant, gasoline, propane, and solvent. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
