29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: (a) On or about Februrary 6, 2020 at 1415 Ellis Avenue in Jackson Mississippi, the employer failed to keep portable fire extinguishers readily available. Portable fire extinguishers located in the storage area was obstructed by grey tote/bins containing store products/stock. The Dollar General was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1184028, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/14/2017 , with respect to a workplace located at 63 Prairie Drive, East Prairie, Missouri . Dollar General was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1105836, citation number 2, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 05/18/16, with respect to a workplace located at 34300 Ms-35, Vaiden, MS 39176.
