29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, or uprights did not bear on base plates, mud sills or other adequate firm foundation: a) Worksite, 57 Glenmore Ave, Montauk NY, West Side of Building - Employees were performing cedar shake siding work on a 4-tier fabricated frame scaffold approximately 20-feet above the ground and the two outer scaffold frame legs did not have base plates and mud sills or any other adequate firm foundation to support the scaffold; on or about 01/24/2020. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
