29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s): On or about 12/16/2019, at 1720 GA Highway 138, Conyers, GA: Where employee(s) operated a Yale and Toyota powered industrial truck with defects and deficiencies such as but not limited to inadequate parking brakes to prevent the lifts from moving unattended and the backup alarm not working. The employer failed to remove the powered industrial truck from service until the repairs could be made.
