29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that employees acquired the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage and removal of energy control devices: a. On or about October 23, 2019, in the facility, employees were required to perform maintenance on activities covered under lock out tag out. Employees were exposed to hazards including, but not limited to burns, when the employer failed to provide adequate training to ensure the knowledge and skill required for the safe application, usage and removal of energy control devices.
