29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasions; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes: On or about October 7, 2019, the employer did not require employees performing LPG cylinder refilling to use appropriate hand protection. Employees were exposed to hazards that included, but were not limited to, skin absorption of harmful substances, chemical burns, and thermal burns.
