29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(i): Each employee who was constructing a leading edge 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: location: 1st floor and upper basement on or about: 8/30/19 a) Employees, installing deck formwork, were exposed to a fall of 8'3" at the leading edge of the floor. location: 1st floor and upper basement on or about: 9/24/19 b) Employees, installing deck formwork, were exposed to a fall of 8'3" at the leading edge of the floor. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
