29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section. On or about August 27, 2019, and at times prior thereto: a. In the open fire area where employees were exposed to electrical, struck-by and heat hazards, when performing service or maintenance on furnace 101 without utilizing an effective energy control procedure. b. In the open fire area where employees were exposed to electrical, struck-by and heat hazards, when performing service or maintenance on furnace 102 without utilizing an effective energy control procedure. c. In the open fire area where employees were exposed to electrical, struck-by and heat hazards, when performing service or maintenance on furnace 211 without utilizing an effective energy control procedure. d. In the open fire area where employees were exposed to electrical, struck-by and heat hazards, when performing service or maintenance on furnace 212 without utilizing an effective energy control procedure. e.
