29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees. Location: 17 Madison Rd., Fairfield, NJ. a) An employee suffered injuries to his hand when he bypassed the guarding of the MA2 machine (Mark Andy printing press) he was operating in order to clear a problem with the slitter trim at the die cutting area of the machine. The employee did not understand thus did not use Lock Out/Tag Out procedures; on or about 8/27/19.
