29 CFR 1926.552(b)(1)(ii): Person(s) were allowed to ride on material hoists for purposes other than inspection and maintenance: a) 15 Chetwynd Terrace, At the Chetwynd Water Tower, Livingston, NJ. Employees were exposed to injury from falls or hoist failure as 2 workers rode the basket of the Maxial Track Hoist from the upper level of scaffolding to the ground and the hoist is only to be used for materials. Violation observed on or about 08/03/2019.
